How the Law Offices of Saeed A. Rizvi LLC handles information collected through this website.
Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to rizvilawoffices.com and the website services operated by the Law Offices of Saeed A. Rizvi LLC (“the firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not govern information handled after an attorney–client relationship begins where different notices, professional duties, agreements, or laws apply.
Notice at collection
We may collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers and contact information, including name, email address, and telephone number; professional or matter-related information that you choose to include in an inquiry; communications and correspondence; and internet or other electronic activity information, such as IP address, browser or device type, pages requested, referring page, and access date and time.
We collect this information directly from you, automatically through ordinary website and server operation, and from service providers supporting the website. We use it to respond to inquiries; conduct conflict, urgency, and subject-matter fit review; communicate with you; operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the website; prevent spam or misuse; comply with professional, legal, and recordkeeping obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We retain each category only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including intake and conflict checking, security, legal and ethical duties, dispute prevention, and recordkeeping. Retention depends on the nature of the inquiry, whether representation begins, legal requirements, and the need to preserve an accurate conflicts record.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account information, medical records, government identification numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through the website. If you voluntarily include sensitive information, we use it only as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to the inquiry, protect the website, or comply with law; we do not use it to infer characteristics about you.
No attorney–client relationship
Viewing this website, contacting the firm, or submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney–client relationship, does not make you a client, and does not guarantee representation. An attorney–client relationship begins only through a written engagement agreement signed by the firm and the client. Until then, do not send confidential or time-sensitive information, and do not delay action on a deadline while awaiting a response.
Disclosures and service providers
We may disclose relevant information to vendors that provide hosting, email, communications, security, anti-spam, website administration, font delivery, analytics if enabled, data storage, or other operational services; to professional advisers; to government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the website; or in connection with a business reorganization. These recipients may process information only for the applicable service or lawful purpose.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not provide financial incentives for personal information. The website is not intended to serve targeted advertising.
Cookies and tracking choices
The website may use essential cookies or similar technology required for WordPress administration, security, form operation, preferences, and reliable delivery. Service providers may receive technical information when their resources are requested. We do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personal information on this website for cross-site behavioral advertising.
Because there is no uniform standard for legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals, the website does not respond differently to those signals. We treat a recognized opt-out preference signal, including Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale or sharing where legally required; however, we do not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California privacy information
California’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires operators of commercial websites that collect personally identifiable information from California residents to post a privacy policy describing their practices. This policy identifies the categories collected, the categories of recipients, the review and correction process, material-change process, tracking disclosures, and effective date.
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies only to businesses meeting statutory criteria. The firm may not meet those thresholds. To the extent the CCPA applies, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete covered personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to receive equal service without retaliation for exercising a right, subject to exceptions. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link is not presently required based on our stated practices.
California residents may submit a request by emailing saeed@rizvilawoffices.com or calling 856-495-9364. State what right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate and reasonably verify the relevant record. We may ask for additional verification, deny or limit a request where an exception applies, and retain information required for conflicts, professional responsibility, security, legal claims, or other lawful purposes. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization and appropriate identity verification.
Children’s privacy and COPPA
This website and its legal-intake services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. A child should not submit an inquiry or other personal information through the website. If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 submitted personal information, contact us using the information below so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate. We do not condition participation in any child-directed activity on disclosure of personal information because the website offers no child-directed activities.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the website and the information handled. No website, form, email, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Use the telephone if you prefer not to submit an inquiry online.
Review, correction, and deletion
You may ask whether we maintain information submitted through the website and request review, correction, or deletion by contacting us. We will evaluate the request under applicable law. Attorney ethics rules, conflicts obligations, litigation holds, security needs, and other legal duties may require us to retain certain records.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the website, our practices, or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised policy here with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an additional prominent notice. The effective date appears above.
